We are seeking a motivated and experienced Air Conditioning Installer who wants to take their skills to the next level and is ready to continue building a long-term career with a well-established local business.

Candidates require a minimum of 3 years of air conditioning experience and enjoy quality workmanship, supporting apprentices and working locally on the Central Coast.

About the role and key responsibilities include:

• Installation of residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
• Supporting and training installation apprentices as the team grows.
• Completing all documentation required to support our office team.
• Assist senior technicians with servicing and repairs when required.
• Ensure all work meets company, industry, and safety standards.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy work site and company vehicle.
• Delivering great customer service. We take looking after our clients seriously.

We we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 year’s experience in air conditioning installation.
• Strong hands on mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to continue learning and developing within the HVAC industry.
• Good communication and customer focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines and support your team.
• Knowledge of Aroflo/SimPro (Advantage)

Air Conditioning Service Technician

About the opportunity
Central Coast Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Technician to join our established service team which services only the Central Coast and Southern Lake Macquarie.

Candidates must have a minimum 2 years of air conditioning service experience.

As part of our team, this full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their diagnostic expertise, while mentoring apprentices in the service, maintenance, and repair of both residential and commercial systems in a fast-paced and supportive environment on the Coast.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and perform diagnostics, fault-finding, service, and repairs on a wide range of air conditioning systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor apprentices, sharing your expertise in troubleshooting, diagnostic/repairs and maintenance.
• Support our office team by providing detailed job notes and photos to keep projects running smoothly.
• Build strong client relationships by delivering professional, reliable, and high-quality service on-site. We take looking after our clients seriously.
• Ensure all work meets company, industry, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

What we’re looking for

• This role is for an experienced HVAC Service Technician.
• Have a genuine interest in HVAC service and repairs.
• Proven experience in servicing and repairing a variety of air conditioning systems.
• Diagnostic and problem-solving abilities and a solid mechanical aptitude.

• Exceptional communication skills, able to liaise with both our office team and clients on a daily basis.
• You will have a strong work ethic and will strive to meet deadlines.
