Central Coast Air Conditioning are an excellent, reliable experienced and extremely competent company. I recently purchased a new Daiken 12.5 KW Ducted Air Conditioning System from them as a replacement for my faulty and obsolete 16 year old Mitsubishi system. First of all, I think the price for the new unit and installation costs were very fair and competitive. I spoke directly with the owner David Robinson, who came out to my home to discuss the options available to me and provide me with a quote. Everyone I dealt with at Central Coast Air Conditioning was incredibly helpful and polite and they answered all my questions, no matter how technical or trivial these were. On the installation day, Riley and his team turned up bang on time and started the arduous process of completely removing my old Air con system and replacing it with the new one. Throughout the whole process all 4 team members were very friendly and helpful and they were also incredibly careful not to damage any walls, ceilings or doors in my house. Not only did they do a really neat job, they also cleaned up after themselves and removed all the rubbish including the old and massive Air con system. Their Team Leader, Riley, was brilliant. He was totally focussed on achieving the best result possible for us and his attention to detail was second to none. Riley is the consumate professional. My wife and I are delighted with the result. The new Air Conditioning System works beautifully and it's more efficient than the old one so we are saving money on our power bills. Rude! A rep from this company blocked the access to my garage and although I knocked on doors and located the rep he still took 10 minutes to come and move his vehicle so we could get in! He was rude, obnoxious and seemed to deliberately delay his departure, despite knowing he was in the wrong place. A visitors parking space AND space outside the house he was visiting were available at the time. Seeing as all reps in logo’d vehicles represent the business I’d say pretty bloody shoddy to be honest. Not impressed

EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM CCAIR:These guys must drive up their star rating by offering free diagnostic services in return for removing negative comments, as this is what they offered me. I stand by my original comment that they refused to come out to inspect under parts warranty and stated that the parts they provide don’t have warranty. Puzzling response from them as my issue wasn’t with manufacturer’s warranty nor with the timeline of events. Mentioning manufacturer’s warranty is irrelevant as I was seeking warranty on the parts THEY installed under 12 months ago. This goes to show their lack of customer appreciation and attention to detail. Do yourself and your wallet a favour, go elsewhere for repairs/maintenance.ORIGINAL: Avoid these guys for any maintenance/repairs. In late 2022 we had multiple technicians come out and replace multiple parts of my A/C, each time, not resolving the issue. They finally got it working and just over 6 months later, we have the same problem. They now refuse to come out to inspect under warranty and have advised that there is no warranty on the parts they installed. Very poor customer service and are generally more expensive than other local options.

Contacted this company for a rewire due to renovating. Upon assessment was told it was a very small job /straight forward and would charge on hours spent basis. Then got told must pay upfront in full based on work estimate and would be refunded if over charged. Turned out very easy job. Post completion had to chase for 3 months for refund, which when finally came was significantly less than fair. Word of warning- if doing repairs get agreed pricing upfront and pay when job completed based on what they say they will charge

We originally wanted a simple split system to control 3 rooms after having our second baby and going into winter but their salesman talked us into a ducted central 14kw unit. The only problem was our house has a flat tin roof, so they made 13 large holes in our floor and walls all over the house and ran the ducts from the ground into them via silver ducts the diameter of a large basketball. This not only made permanent changes to our house, the ducts were visible from outside and looked horrible. The tradesmen knew this when they turned up to install but did it anyway. Those central ducted systems are designed to flow cold air down from the roof (hot air rises, cold falls) so being on the floor did not have enough fan force so the house was never properly cooled. The zoning didn't work either and the pressure to some rooms was barely noticeable, and the power cost was high. We were dealing with a newborn and 4yr old so we lost track of time before realising what a bad solution it was. Not only did they know the solution was not the best one, they sold it to us at a time when we just wanted something done and trusted them. Their tradesman made a mess of our the back, destroyed some features of the house in the process and left an absolute mess. Would not recommend this company at all, they also have a bad reputation in the local aircon tradesmen circle. They took advantage of our inexperience, sold us a completely wrong solution, and messed up our home. Use anybody else, and follow your instinct on what you really need and don't trust a friendly salesman to have your interests as his priority.

Can not give me a quote for re-gas R22 into my chiller air conditioner machine . I'm a maintenance and diagnostic engineering and i had been check for air leak then i had explain to them just need re-gas r22. What i had been told is need to check leaking before they are doing re-gas. I think i need quit job because an engineering like me not a qualified to inspection air leaking on machine.

I approved their quote, then they installed something else. These guys are cowboys of the worst you've ever seen. They cause major issues with the operation of my brand new ducted air conditioning system, tell me it industry practice to leave a massive hole in the outside cabinet , only to allow rats and frogs to get in and short circuit the system. I rang Fujitsu, the were amazed this airconditioning business was so rough on the installation of a simple installation. Now I have involve Dept of Fair Trading and commercial legal team to sort out the mess they have created.If your looking for quality air conditioning installation on the Central Coast NSW , best to find some other team, these guys are a disgrace to the industry. It should have been a simple warranty fix, their customer service is non exist. Very poor service, anyone else with half a brain, will be better than these jokers.

Booked for a quote and was told they would arrive between 8am and 12pm. By 12:30 no one had arrived so we called them up and was told the guy had forgotten to come so they arranged to have him come in an hour. He arrived at 2:30pm and made my partner feel very uncomfortable not really saying a word and just staring at her in the beginning. After giving us a quote that was 500$ more the the other quotes we received he began bad mouthing the other companies stating they don’t do the job properly. Would not recommend to anyone based off just the short interaction my partner had with the supposed owner of the company. Only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give 0.

Since contacting Central Coast Airconditioning regarding an enquiry to have a ducted airconditioning system installed in our home we received a response the same day and a Technician was at our home the same week. They were exceptionally professional in their evaluation of our home, the placement of ducting and the unit required. We then had a second Technician visit to confirm the system requirements prior to installation which again was very professional.On the day of installation the Central Coast Airconditioning Technical Staff who attended were very professional in their approach over the 2 days it took to install our system. Nothing was a problem and they were very informative as to what they were doing throughout the installation process and confirming that we were happy throughout all stages of the install and location of the ducts, control panel and setting up the WiFi system and interface.We really want to thank everyone at Central Coast Airconditioning for everything they did in installing our air-conditioning and in such a quick timeframe.

We used Central Coast Air Conditioning to install our ducted air conditioner in our new home which we are renovating. They we’re the only company that said we could have a fully ducted AC installed all the other companies said we had to have partial ducting and a seperate split system. The price was very reasonable and they made the job look easy and they were very professional from the quoting through to the installation and after sale service.
